Update from the field

Back in Canada

Pastor Witteveen is back in the Aldergrove area after more than 6 months in Brazil without his family. Following are his comments about his arrival.

“It is a great blessing to be home with the family. We enjoyed the first two weeks of “quarantine,” and this week marks the beginning of the new school year (except for McKinley, whose second college semester begins in October). I’m awaiting the completion of work on my study, which I’m looking forward to, because it will give me a dedicated place to work, and especially to begin to record audio and video. I’m hoping that it will be done by the beginning of October. “

Pastor Witteveen and Pastor Chase will be working closely together. Maybe a few countries apart, but with the technology available they will be able to support each other. Besides translating sermons, preparing online seminars and translating the IJC curriculum, Pastor Witteveen will travel to Brazil 2 or 3 times a year to teach at the IJC and to continue the face to face contacts with our brothers and sisters at the IRB.
